Punt Gun in 19th Century was Fired on someone else’s shoulder

You’ve probably heard the parable “putting a gun on someone else’s shoulder”
It’s usually spoken when someone tries to blame someone else for their own wrongdoing.
But you will be surprised to know that this gun was 8.5 feet long and weighed about 45 kg in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries
So called a “punt gun” in European countries was actually carried on the shoulders of others.
It would have been used in hunting season when more than 50 ducks or chickens were killed in one shot.
One thing is realized after watching this “art piece” this gun requires strong shoulder support not only shoulder to use. 😀
